Volcano Flame Diffuser — Essential Oil Aromatherapy, Flame & Volcano LED Effect, Large 560ml Ultrasonic Mist + Remote
Volcano Flame Diffuser — Essential Oil Aromatherapy, Flame & Volcano LED Effect, Large 560ml Ultrasonic Mist + Remote
Turn it on and the room changes. A glowing volcano "erupts" out of the crackled lava-rock top — a warm flame flickering up through a drifting column of cool, scented mist — and the plain corner of your bedroom or desk suddenly looks like somewhere you actually want to be. If you've been buying candle after candle just to set a mood, this is the reusable upgrade: the flames at night become the thing you look at instead of your screen, and the room smells good while it looks even better.
Why people keep it out on display:
- An eruption, not a night-light. A backlit mist column rises through a textured volcano crater into a moving flame glow — switch between the warm flame effect and the cool blue volcano, whichever suits the night. It's light and water vapor, not real fire, so it looks its best in a dimmed room.
- Cool mist, zero heat. It's ultrasonic water vapor and LED light — no fire, no hot surface — so it's safe to leave glowing with kids or pets in the room. It shuts off on its own when the tank runs dry.
- A big tank, so you're not refilling it every night. The 18.9 oz (~560 ml) reservoir is far larger than the tiny 120–260 ml diffusers most of this shelf sells, and two mist modes — continuous or intermittent — let you stretch one fill much further.
- Adjust it without getting up. Comes with a remote, so you can change the light or the mist from across the room or the bed.
- Your oils, no cartridges. A few drops of any standard essential oil straight into the water tank — the cool ultrasonic mist carries the scent without heating (and cooking) the oil. No pods, no proprietary refills, no subscription.
Try it for 30 days. If the eruption doesn't look as good in your room as it does in ours — or it just isn't for you — email us and we'll refund you, no interrogation. Ships with tracking; typical delivery is about 1–2 weeks.
This isn't for you if…
- You want a whole-house humidifier — this is aromatherapy-first ambiance with light misting for one room, not a unit built to change the humidity of a large space.
- You expect literal fire — the "flame" is LED light through mist. Dramatic in a dim room, subtler in bright daylight.
- You only care about the cheapest option — the $20 generics exist; this is the larger-tank, dual-effect, remote version with a guarantee behind it, not the bottom of the shelf.
Ships in the white crackle ("lava-rock") finish shown. Uses standard essential oils (not included).

Common questions
Does this use real fire? Is it safe to leave on overnight around kids and pets?
No real fire and no heat. The flame and volcano effect is LED light glowing up through a rising column of cool ultrasonic mist — there's no flame and no hot surface to burn anything. It also powers off automatically the moment the water tank runs dry, so there's nothing to babysit if you drift off with it glowing. Safe to run in a room with kids or pets.
Do I have to refill it constantly, like the small diffusers?
This is the large-tank version — an 18.9 oz (about 560 ml) reservoir, much bigger than the common 120–260 ml diffusers, so you're refilling it far less often. It also has two mist modes: run it continuous for a steady eruption, or intermittent to stretch one fill much longer.
Can I use my own essential oils, or do I need special cartridges?
Any standard essential oil works — just add a few drops straight into the water tank (lavender and eucalyptus are popular). There are no cartridges, no proprietary oils, and no subscription. Because the mist is cool and ultrasonic, it carries the scent without heating and degrading the oil. (Oils are not included.)
Does the volcano flame effect actually look good, or is it a cheap LED-strip look?
It's a backlit mist column rising through a textured volcano crater, so in a dim or dark room it moves and flickers like a glowing eruption rather than sitting there like a flat light strip. You can switch between the warm flame effect and the cool blue volcano tone. It's honestly light and water vapor, not real fire, so it looks its best in a dimmed room and is subtler in bright daylight.
Is it quiet, and can I adjust it without getting up?
It mists ultrasonically with no fan, so there's no motor hum — we don't quote a decibel number because none is published for this unit and we won't invent one, but there's no fan noise by design. It also comes with a remote, so you can change the light and the mist from across the room or from bed. Every order is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee.
